Okay, so I was at the McDonalds drive through yet again today. While I sat there waiting in line, I read the signboard with all the food on it:

"Smiles are always free."

But she didn't smile at me when she gave me my food. In fact, I hardly even got a glance.

So does that mean I have to ask for the smile? Or is it automatic for the person to flash teeth?

What's the point if I have to go through so much effort just to get a smile?
