I enjoy the comforts of the dark.

Though times have changed. It used to offer me solace and an enveloping sense of warmth. Now I much prefer it simply because it allows me to sleep properly.

Sleep is a treasured commodity, I must say. I used to take it for granted, but now, getting any sort of sleep takes quite an effort, not unlike that needed to launch the space shuttle.

As a famous auteur once said, "how hard can it be?"
