It is sometimes with sadness that I admit to certain truths to myself.

Regardless of my point of view, certain things in life are bound to be disappointments, and are never destined to go away.

Though I have learned in recent times that disappointments like these need not impede forward progress.

Because, after all, happiness is there to be had. The thrill of the chase, in itself, is more than enough for my satisfaction.

You may never get there, but damn, isn't it fun trying?
