Another day...

It's warm and blustery outside, more calm before the storm

Children outside are laughing, as the darkness begins to fall

There is naught to do, yet nothing to be done

I sit around pretty, staring at the sun

The wind makes a wistful sound, leaves shake in the wake

The squirrels scurry around the trees, looking for their mates

Another day in my life, another day to forget

Another storm is coming, more troubles to beget
