Romance cannot be dictated by the whims of one man.

Very simple, really. No matter how much effort you may be unleashing on the endeavour, if the other is not willing, it usually all means naught in the end.

So yes, I got caught out last night, and finally had to give up on the chase. It really wouldn't have mattered in the end anyway, but sometimes, you just feel like you needed to try, just to do...something.

It's just too far away from home, and there's never enough time...
